Nampa, Idaho Landscape Irrigation
Proper watering of the grass plant is paramount in our desert climate. The tendency is to water daily to provide enough moisture for the hot summer months. This promotes a shallow root system and therefore the grass plant cannot survive the heat. Proper irrigation is to apply the water to fill the soil profile and then let it dry. This promotes the grass plant roots to go deeper and take advantage of a larger surface area to uptake the moisture it needs during the high heat months.
